ZVA Completed a basement remodel for us and we could not be happier with the result! It was exactly as promised, on budget and looks awesome! Zac and his team were great. We put new windows and front door in recently. We went back and forth on design, styles etc and Zac was very patient and helpful as we made numerous changes. ZVA Construction recently replace a really old bay window with a triple hung window. The team did such an amazing job; you can't tell a different style window was previously there. They also replaced both my front and storm doors. Zac was very professional and answered my many questions. Zac made suggestions to keep us within our budget while never pressuring us to pick more expensive products. The team arrived on time and were very respectful and efficient. We were very happy with ZVA Construction from start to finish. All appointments were on time and my questions were always answered promptly via phone call or email. Today we had a Therma Tru door and Anderson screen/storm door installed. The workers took great care of everything and cleaned up everything. You would think that we had the doors there forever due to the workmanship of the workers. There were no concerns afterwards as the workers asked me to check everything to see if I had questions. I would recommend ZVA Construction highly.

I had mismatched, poorly installed flooring and rooms with wall to wall carpet and 3 dogs. The kitchen had cabinets and a microwave that were hung too low, inefficient use of space and lighting fixtures that were mismatched and old. A large island in the middle of the kitchen was awkward to move around and blocked one of the doors to the dining room. I went to ZVA with an idea to build some half walls and replace my flooring and I could not be happier with how they expanded on my ideas and the work that was done. They made sure the supplies they needed were available before taking out my old cabinets, minimizing the time that my kitchen was non-functional. Every little glitch that happened along the way was taken care of with the utmost professionalism and the end results are fantastic. From the under the cabinet lighting to the stair retreads and new floors through the entire house, it all looks amazing. I will be calling them back when it’s time to replace my windows! Our windows were 30 years old and needed to be replaced. They were rotting and very drafty. We called ZVA and got an appointment right away for an estimate. Zac came over as promised and took his time explaining the options available and showed us sample windows. We agreed to his estimate and asked him to go ahead with the job. All windows were custom made to size. We had about 30 windows. Zac took care of everything and made us feel very comfortable. The day of installation Zac and his crew arrived on time as promised. They did a fantastic job and cleaned everything at the end of each day. They worked hard and were always polite and professional. We were so thrilled with Zac and his workmanship that we have now contracted with him to remodel our kitchen. Thank you ZVA ! Roger & Debbie

I hired a window company to replace several windows in my house. I was shocked to find that there was serious water damage to the window frames and studs under the window boxes. There was also damage to the sheet rock and insulation. The window company had to stop work. I emailed and spoke with a handful of contractors to do this repair. Most didn't call back to schedule an estimate. I paid one contractor nearly $600 to do thermal imaging and some moisture tests only to tell me we have an unknown amount of damage in the walls. I already knew that. I felt very uneasy with that contractor for a few other reasons. I had tarps and plywood covering what were once windows and felt stuck. I had no idea what I was looking at cost-wise but knew the first contractor's ballpark unofficial idea of a price was crushing. My wife's friend found ZVA on Facebook for us. The owner, Zach called us immediately when we expressed interest and within a day or two sent his estimator Nick. In literally less than five minutes, I trusted Nick. I felt like I found a contractor that was interested in helping me with my problem, that I was a valued customer, not just a payday. We had an open conversation about what he believed to be the extent of the damages vs. what could be. Zach put an estimate together. We had to open three walls from the inside and remove siding and open a wall on the outside, so as to spare ripping out my kitchen. The estimate allowed my heart to restart. And we didn't know 100% for sure what was behind those walls. We were certain there was the structural damage and some mold on the sheetrock. I hired Zach and he sent his team in to do the work. They could only do enough at first to allow the window company to install the windows. After ZVA completed most of the work, they returned after the window installation to do the final finishing work. His crew was on time, very neat, took good care of my home with tarps and clean-up, friendly and answered any questions I had. The work they did was incredible. I would never have believed they could do the extent of tearing out and rebuilding without leaving a trace of evidence that such work had been done. His carpenters are so incredibly skilled. Zach showed up himself the first day and the last day to inspect when his crew was done. I think he came in the middle too, but with so much going on, I'm not sure. Their work was great! ZVA Construction is undoubtedly the best contractor I have ever used for home repairs. And this was a major job. And I never felt like he was trying to bleed me; the estimate was spot on. What an amazing contractor!
